1. The Stimpson Product I require is not offered on the web store. How can I get it?

We are constantly working to add the most popular Stimpson products to our web store offerings. If you don’t see what you need, please feel free to contact our customer service department at 954-946-3500 or customer_service@stimpson.com. We will be happy to help you.

2. What is your web store return policy?

To view our full return policy, please click this hyperlink. If you would like to return your order, please e-mail us at webservice@stimpson.com with your order number, name, contact phone number, item(s) to be returned, and the reason for the return request. We will respond very promptly.

3. Will these Stimpson parts work with my tooling?

Stimpson grommets are designed to work with Stimpson machines and tooling. Additionally, the setting machine must be equipped with tooling designed for the size and style of grommet being used. 

For example, tooling made by another manufacturer likely will not work to set Stimpson parts, regardless of any similarity in the part numbers (i.e. #2 grommet dimensions are not consistent across the industry and depend greatly upon the manufacturer). Furthermore, tools designed to set one style of grommet (such as self-piercing) will not set another (such as plain sheet metal grommets). Setting machines come in many different varieties, but almost all of them employ removable setting tools (or “dies”). 

Unfortunately, not all Stimpson tooling is not yet available on our web store. If you require Stimpson setting tools that do not appear on our store, please contact us via e-mail at customer_service@stimpson.com or call us at 954-946-3500 and ask for a customer service representative.

4. I've been charged sales tax on my order but I am tax exempt. Can I get a refund?

By law, we are obligated to charge tax on orders shipped to NY, NJ, IL, CA, FL, and TN. If you are tax exempt, please e-mail your tax exempt certificate and order number to webservice@stimpson.comand we will issue you a refund for the sales tax charged on your order.

5. Can I get a certificate of conformance or material certification with my order?

We are currently working on a self-service portal where customers can retrieve their own documents online. In the meantime, however, we ask that you contact us at webservice@stimpson.com, providing us with your order number and which specific documents you require. We will supply either or both of these documents within one business day.

6. What shipping services are available?

Stimpson’s web store ships exclusively via UPS. Orders may be shipped standard (3-5 days), two-day, or one day. Freight charges are based on the shipping method, weight, and destination.

7. Where can Stimpson web store orders be shipped?

We currently ship domestically using all appropriate levels of UPS service and globally using UPS Worldwide Expedited and UPS Worldwide Express Plus.

8. When will my order ship?

Unless otherwise noted on the item page, all web store orders will ship the same day provided they are placed by 3PM Eastern time. Orders received after 3PM will ship the next business day. Please note that most premium shipping options do not count weekends (for example, a package shipping Next Day on Friday will not arrive until Monday unless Saturday Delivery is available and chosen as your shipping method of choice).
