Stimpson’s #4 stainless steel grommet and plain washer provide basic hole reinforcement and versatility for a wide variety of applications. The marine grade #4 grommet features a hole size of 1/2”, a length under flange of .375”, and a metal thickness of .016”. The inside diameter of the plain washer is .585”, with an outside diameter of 1.062”, and a metal thickness of .013”. This multipurpose grommet and washer combination can be used in a variety of materials industrial fabrics, marine canvas, boat covers, awnings, and heavy-duty vinyl tarps as long as a hole has been pre-punched in the material. Manual, semi-automatic, and fully-automatic grommet setting machines easily set #4 grommets and plain washers ensuring installation runs smoothly and efficiently.
