#4 SHEET METAL GROMMET and NECK WASHER BRASS (4GNW)

Stimpson’s #4 brass grommet and extended neck washer reinforce a hole with two entire parts using a barrel-to-barrel setting. Available in three finishes, the #4 grommet features a hole size of 1/2”, a length under flange of .375”, and a metal thickness of .016”. The flange diameter of the neck washer is 1.050”, with a length under flange of .125”, and a metal thickness of .015”. This multipurpose grommet and washer combination can be used in a variety of materials including thick industrial fabrics, canvas, leather, and heavy-duty vinyl tarps, as long as a hole has been pre-punched in the material. Manual, semi-automatic and fully-automatic grommet setting machines easily set #4 grommets and neck washers since the washer’s neck allows it to be guided down the track (aka “the roadway”) of the setting machine.
