Stimpson’s #3 stainless steel grommet and plain washer provide basic hole reinforcement and versatility for a wide variety of applications. The marine grade #3 grommet features a hole size of 7/16”, a length under flange of .295”, and a metal thickness of .014”. The inside diameter of the plain washer is .530”, with an outside diameter of .955", and a metal thickness of .013”. This multipurpose grommet and washer combination can be used in a variety of materials industrial fabrics, marine canvas, boat covers, awnings, and heavy-duty vinyl tarps as long as a hole has been pre-punched in the material. Manual, semi-automatic, and fully-automatic grommet setting machines easily set #3 grommets and plain washers ensuring installation runs smoothly and efficiently.
