#2 SHEET METAL GROMMET and TEETH WASHER BRASS (2GTW)

Stimpson’s #2 sheet metal grommet and teeth washer locks on fabric and other woven materials for a secure setting. The teeth on the washer provide a firmer, tighter grasp while simultaneously preventing the grommet from spinning once set.  Available in three finishes, the #2 features a hole size of 3/8”, a length under flange of .215”, and a metal thickness of .013”. The inside diameter of the teeth washer is .468”, with an outside diameter of .840”, and a metal thickness of .012”. This multipurpose grommet and teeth washer combination can be used in a variety of materials and applications including industrial fabrics, canvas, leather, heavy-duty tarps, drapery, curtains, and vinyl banners. In order to set plain grommets with teeth washers, pre-punched holes in material are required unless they are used in conjunction with equipment designed to cut a hole and set the grommet. Manual, semi-automatic and fully-automatic grommet setting machines easily set #2 grommets and teeth washers ensuring installation runs smoothly and efficiently.
